All eyes of CBSE Class 10 students are currently fixed on the CBSE portal, as the eagerly awaited date-sheet could be posted at any moment. Typically, pre-board exams serve as a crucial gauge of students’ academic readiness for the major board exams in March 2023. However, each school conducts its own pre-board exams, which can introduce bias into the results.
In a groundbreaking move, CBSE experts have partnered with Eduhap and Educart to administer a common All India Pre-Board exam for CBSE Class 10 students in an offline mode. The objective is to replicate the pressure of real board exams and provide students with an All India rank before the board exams commence.
This exam will be administered from home but with strict monitoring of answer sheets provided by Eduhap via postal mail. The answer sheets will be uploaded online and then meticulously assessed by top CBSE educators from across India, following the CBSE marking scheme and guidelines. After this evaluation, All India ranks will be announced based on students’ performance in the exam. Educart, renowned for its bestselling sample paper books, is also involved in the process, ensuring that the pre-board paper matches the standards of the March 2023 board exams and facilitating the evaluation of copies, similar to how TCS manages large-scale projects.
Eduhap, one of India’s leading and most popular CBSE educators with over 2.5 million subscribers, has introduced this app. They exclusively focus on Class 10 students, offering free courses and videos for every subject and chapter in Class 10. Their collaboration with Educart has made this pre-board exam a reality upon special request.
The exam is likely to take place in January 2023 (as per the soon-to-be-announced date sheet), allowing ample time for results to be available before the commencement of board exams. Here are the steps to enroll:
Step 1: Register through the Eduhap App using various sign-up options.
Step 2: Once successfully logged in, pay a nominal registration fee for the exam. The app will display all exam details, and you will receive notification of the date sheet by the end of December.
Step 3: When the exam paper is accessible, write your answers on the provided printed sheets within the specified time frame. After the time is up, you will have 5 minutes to upload your answer sheets via the app. Ensure timely submission.
Step 4: CBSE teachers will review your answer sheets according to the latest CBSE 2022-23 marking scheme.
Step 5: The final results will be published in newspapers, and all evaluated answer sheets with performance assessments will be accessible through the Eduhap App.
The exam’s difficulty level is expected to be moderate to challenging, similar to the CBSE sample papers introduced on September 26, 2022. It will encompass various question typologies and new patterns, including case-based questions, competency-style questions (40%), and assertion-reason types. This innovative approach will significantly benefit students, providing them with valuable experience and aiding in their preparation for the final board exams. Both students and parents stand to gain substantial support from this pre-board exam experience.
